Time to Reline

Don’t wait until your dentures are loose before caring for them.  If you do, you risk fracture of the denture or teeth, or both.  You’ve paid a lot of money for your dentures, so you want to take care of them.   By doing this they last longer and serve their purpose.  Ideally, 2 – 3 years is the optimal time to refit (reline or rebase) your denture.  This also allows us to re-establish your bite.   Relines/rebases provides another benefit to you — minimizing bone loss.  When your denture fits properly, it won’t move, and with less movement on your gums then minimal bone loss occurs.
